Pupils performed on stage with European Ballet Company...Eight of Kathleen Burdon's young pupils and a handful of older students were asked by the European Ballet Company to take part in their professional production of Coppelia which was staged at the Customs House, South Shields in April 2011.
The Company previously involved some of our older pupils in 2009, in their production of Sleeping Beauty and were so impressed, they came back to the Kathleen Burdon School of Ballet again!
Three pupils win places on Elmhurst's Associate Programme...Congratulations to William (Grade 2), Annisha (Grade 3) and Yasmeen (Grade 5) who will join Saturday classes in Sunderland in September. Good luck!
